Friends joey and rachel dating
I think the way he treated Mona was bad, I think the way he acted when dating Rachel and spending a lot of time of Monica’s showed he was a bit insensitive, I didn’t particularly like the way he acted towards Susan and I thought staying married to Rachel behind her back was very very strange. Also, while Emily was not a good character, him saying Rachel’s name at the wedding was bound to be hurtful. If I was married and we divorced and a couple years later my best friend said "hey I think I'm in love with your ex-wife, is that cool? Yea but Chandler still dated Janice for a decently long time, and date multiple times. They also only dated for a year, and then by the time Joey falls in love with her it’s like 5 years later. And Ross could have easily said, “Joey, I would be uncomfortable with that.I don’t think there is too much comparison between the Janice and Rachel things, sure Janice is an ex but not with the same level of feelings or history of Ross and Rachel.Plus Rachel was pregnant with his child at the time. But he feels conflicted about seeing them together because it seems like he's closing the door on one of his relationships.
Now that we got married drunk of our asses in Vegas, lets just stay together and live happily ever after". They dated for a year but Ross had been in love with her for much, much longer with Rachel found out about. So I agree Ross was wrong but not really because of the Janice thing just because he behaved like an awful friend.I can give a few but bear in mind it’s all opinion based and a lot of the time these were played for laughs and not meant maliciously. The difference is Ross had been in love with Rachel since 9th grade typing.
Chandler has openly let everyone know he can't stand Janice.I also think he didn’t wait a respectful amount of time before moving on with Charlie after she broke up with Joey.I also think ‘we were on a break’ was not a good excuse for his behaviour. As above however I do think he loved Rachel so I don’t count the Janice thing at all as being similar to the Rachel-Joey thing.
