Afaik they dont give you the option to do a fresh install of 2016, so i had to upgrade from 2013. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening so that i can get 2016 updates?Unfortunately, if you don't have an Office 365 subscription and already bought Office 2013 or an older version of Office as a one-time option, there is no upgrade option.You have to either subscribe to Office 365 to get access to Office 2016 or buy a standalone version of Office 2016. I'm trying to add all the updates to a package that I am building to test. Has anyone found of a way to download all the updates at once before you do the install?
